Bibliography - top 10

This is a bibliography of sources that have influenced my lifework, shortened to the top 10. It is extremely difficult and perhaps misleading to list 10 of the many books that have illuminated this wondrous path. Each entry has major links to wholeo.net pages.

  1. Josef Albers, Interaction of Color, Yale University Press, New Haven and London, 1963. Precise illustrated studies of how colors color each other. Reviewed on this page.
  2. Carlos Castaneda, Tales of Power, Simon and Schuster, New York, 1974. Best view of our modes of being. See Liberating the Handmaiden, Zen and the Art of Dividing by Zero (this is the best, most exact description of life of all), Chaos Winds of Change and Evolving journal entries.
  3. R. Buckminster Fuller, Ideas and Integrities: A Spontaneous Autobiographical Disclosure, Prentice-Hall, Englewood Cliffs, NJ, 1963. See similar quotes from Synergetics in Zen and the Art of Dividing by Zero, Bibliography, Spiralinear path of earth in galaxy graphic, Buckminster Fuller Challenge 2009 entry, review of Fuller catalog of Whitney Museum retrospective, Fuller page with these links and more.
  4. Eileen J. Garrett, Adventures in the Supernormal, A Personal Memoir, Creative Age Press, New York, 1949. Mentioned in Kriya Yoga page 13, Eileen's book was the first time I read of someone with experiences like mine, called being a "medium". Her experience losing her two children helped me in retrospect, when my son died. Quoted on the Aura/Wavelength Wholeo dome panel page.
  5. Arthur Waley, The Way and its Power, A Study of the Tao Te Ching and its Place in Chinese Thought, Grove Press, New York. See Liberating the Handmaiden
  6. Herbert Melville, Moby Dick. Quoted on the Inner Pool drawing page.
  7. S. G. J. Ouseley, Colour Meditations, With a Guide to Colour-Healing, L. N. Fowler & Co. Ltd., London, 1949. Ouseley also wrote The Science of the Aura and The Power of the Rays. These books influenced Wholeo Dome and color healing, for the rest of my life.
  8. Pacific Domes, Domebook 2, edited by Lloyd Khan, (became Shelter Publications), Bolinas, CA, 1971. See Wholeo Dome Wholeo, and Bump.
  9. Brother Philip, Secret of the Andes, Leaves of Grass Press, Bolinas, 1976. See On the Way to Machu Picchu
  10. A yoga in 30 days book that started a daily practice, by Richard someone. See Carolyoga
