The MiniMoons page shows two ink paintings on rice paper as studies to an oil painting named Inner Pool. In 2011 I'm going through a box of old drawings from Minnesota and New York, the early 1960s. Many are as much writing and they are visualizations. This quote on an inner pool drawing seems to epitomize my intention:
From Herman Melville, Moby Dick: "And thus, though in the grand armada, surrounded by circle upon circle of consternation and affrights, did these inscrutable creatures at the center freely and fearlessly indulge in all peaceful concernments; yea serenely revelled in dalliance and delight. But even so, amid the tornadoed Atlantic of my being, do I myself still forever centrally disport in mute calm; and while ponderous planets of unwaning woe revolve around me, deep down and deep inland there I still bathe me in eternal mildness of joy".
