{Back to top of page}Path Through the Weeds is based on a vacant lot near Seven Corners in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in 1960. Here is a place in the city where nature is wild as ever. Dying weeds play rhythms with the coming winter winds, spreading seeds. The footprint starts on the path leading to an opening in the fence.
This oil painting on linen is from the collection of Ted Pirsig, who inherited it from Nancy Ann James.
The footprint steps into web works, too. The latest listing is first:
Other web footsteps are Footsteps in the Wind and NrG walk about.
- Life Goes On is the walk of life over ancient petroglyphs on earth and colors of lift off in transition at Gaia Point.
- Then There is No Mountain is part of the Whirled exhibit, Not White Mountains, a series of three QuickTime VR movies. Footprints continue on up. On a sidetrack, see the antithesis.
- Blessings of Gaia is in ritual acts of the imagination. Look for the footprint at the lower left of the animation (Flash or QuickTime movie).
- Grass/Path is a painting with related theme, (choose the well-defined path or an undefined path over the grass). The same foot, different print, is at the start of the division line. For a detail and how this painting equates to my lifelong vision, see Wholeo Galactic and Wholeo Symbols with Grass/Path.
