Path Through the Weeds

Path Through the Weeds is based on a vacant lot near Seven Corners in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in 1960. Here is a place in the city where nature is wild as ever. Dying weeds play rhythms with the coming winter winds, spreading seeds. The footprint starts on the path leading to an opening in the fence.

This oil painting on linen is from the collection of Nancy Ann James.

The footprint steps into web works, too. The latest listing is first:

Other web footsteps are Footsteps in the Wind and NrG walk about.
