Back to Nature Festival, Oct. 17, 2004 Sharing Caroling's experience

What joy to make castles with the fine white quartz crystal sand on a South Walton county beach(top)! The center photo shows the instructor in yellow Tshirt. He is the internationally experienced sand-castler Mark Flynn. He provided tools on the beach at Fort Panic (park at Dune Allen Regional Beach Access). Children under 12 were accompanied by responsible adults. Some of them built castles and others photographed or lazed in the beautiful late afternoon weather. As the tide comes in, sweeping away some buildings, sand carvers continue happily in the puddles, unconcerned.
