I registerd to meditate, keeping vigil from 9:15 to 9:30AM CDT. I lit a candle and smudged intention of peace. Set timer for 30 minutes. Instantly my body and concerns fell away becoming inner devotion. Cracking smash blasted the intense silence opening eyes wide to candle flames spread out of broken glass. Meditation broken to stop the fire. Resuming, with this thought:
Though carelessness cracked the vessel
and blew out votive flame.
Maintain devotion.
