Visiting The Farm in Tennessee, here are a few pictures of a weekend retreat, The Farm Experience, Sept 19-21, 2003.
At the top of the page is Doug Stevenson, telling us his vision of this place as the "heart of The Farm". On one side of the stream below is the half of The Farm that is used by nearly 200 residents and their life support.
On the other side is land that has been used by previous owners, but is now a sanctuary, free to be natural. Here on a cliff overlooking the meeting of streams, we are between the two. To the left, Doug faces the open land.
Before I could hike on, a butterfly visited my foot.
