The equinox was on March 20, 2004 at 6:49 UT. For the event, I focused on Deer Lake State Park. During the preceding week, I did several studies. The QTVR panorama on this page was photographed early on the day before the equinox, March 19, 2004. It expresses the spirit of the season. This is on the bridge where Hwy 30A crosses the lake, looking south to the dunes and beach on the Gulf of Mexico and north to the forest. Morning mist is burning off.
About the panorama
Camera: Canon 300D (Digital Rebel) with 18-55mm lens. EXIF data includes time - 6:30 a.m., shutter speed - 1/60 second, aperture - f/20, ISO - 400, focal length - 30 mm, color space - sRGB.
