Everglades, Shark Valley tram tour

The Shark Valley Tram Tour follows an abandoned oil prospecting site, deep into the Everglades National Park. It is named from the main river, where sharks enter the mouth from the Gulf of Mexico. Below is a map, courtesy Google Earth. Notice the strong lines running to the south west, showing the Everglades river of grass. On the tour we saw more kinds of birds than alligators and there was an alligator in or near almost every pond of water.

Here are some images from the tram trip. See an imaginative movie circling the area from up on the tower, gathering a lizard array to witness a lunar eclipse. Back to the Shark Valley or Everglades travel page.
