computer noise, Object movie

Computer noise. Or is it art? Or is it a lively act of collaboration within the world of people and computers? Here I am, Caroling, noisily circulating in cyberspace. I'm standing on a rotating platform while a digital camera takes 36 exposures of the turn. Images are fed directly to the computer, processed by whizzy scripts and dumped into a QuickTime movie file, all automatically. The interface artist probably was the floppy disk used to transport the file to my computer.

The original movie file was damaged, but I salavaged it. Some, not all, of the frames created noise in a horizontal band across the computer monitor. I captured the frames for the animation.
