In 2016, Rob Boyle writes:

"Being interested in anything that flies from an early age, paragliding became available as about the cheapest and easiest way to actually become airborne.

"Paragliding has taken me to some amazing places and allowed me to take it all in from a very privileged perspective.

"It also brings with it, a great social side involving many like-minded people willing to help out up and coming pilots like myself.

"Being awarded the Leo Geary award at the National Championships was a big surprise and great honour. Seeing what the past names on the trophy and Leo himself have achieved is a great inspiration to all, and hope it continues for years to come"
