Jamie wrote: "Technically I would be composer, performer and recording engineer. the technique used in the recording is my original concept and to my knowledge has never been knowingly or consciously used for 3-D sound reproduction." Review of Follow the Sand at the Paris Lift-Off Film Festival, online, September, 2024:
"I bought my ticket. They emailed me a password and a link. I clicked on the link and entered the password. I got into the site immediately. In FEATURE PROGRAMMES I searched on "Follow The Sand" and up popped a box that said "How to Wholeo" so I clicked on it and it was the movie! So I watched the movie.
"It is a very special experience. I loved the artwork. Having watched Fritz (a professional film editor) edit and having a tiny bit of experience with Photoshop and Illustrator, I am so impressed with the care and artistry that you used these tools to tell your story. The computer graphics and 3D modeling are fantastic! And your didactic training with the graphics floating above your head is something I think professors around the world will envy when they see it.
"I liked the time you took to tell your story. I should have taken notes. There was something you said about that character who is meditating in one of your Wholeo Dome panels that grabbed me. But I can't remember now what you said about him in the movie. The movie is wonderfully dense and rich with layers and information and art. It is like the Wholeo Dome, you made each panel and each panel is so detailed, you can study it/enjoy it for a long time. And then you put all the panels together to make the dome and it is WOW - it is something to experience and remember and muse over forever … and the movie is the same way. All the sections are individually superabundant. I have so much respect for the technical and artistic expertise you flexed here!
"In the movie you say to us "I hope you get it!" But you laid some heavy intel on us. There are moments when I start to get a hint, a sense that I might be close to getting it, but it will take a few more viewings and meditation. When I got lost, I just focused on the art. I know I need to study the section where you compare the two types of structures. I love the idea around how expanded conciousness can help with communication and increased awareness.

"My favorite part was when we are meditating with the moon after the trip to Appalachian Mountains to see the origins of the sand. I liked the quotes from the great thinkers who have inspired you. You are a person who has balanced the right and left sides of your brain. You are a scientist/mathmatician, a spiritualist, and a loving, playful, fantasizing, sentient soul. I am greatful for your curiosity and the effort of using your high intelligence to at once have wonder for the world and the courage to study it. I will never look at sand the same way - there is so much there, in every grain.
