{Back to top of page}From the Rancho San Antonio County Park, several hiking trails lead into the Rancho San Antonio Open Space Preserve. Trails rise from 400 to 1600 feet at Vista Point. On the way up, at the Knoll, you can see the highest peak in the preserve, Black Mountain, 2800 feet. The QuickTime VR (QTVR) movies are interactive panoramic views. Vista Point is at the junction between the Upper High Meadow trail and the PG&E trail. QTVR movie: small (250KB), medium (900KB), or large (2.5MB). Vista photos.
