Eglin-Nokuse Wildlife Eco-Passage

Looking east to Nokuse Plantation under recently four-laned U.S. Hwy 331, wildlife has a chance to avoid traffic. In 2015, the Florida Wildlife Corridor Expedition got a guided tour of an eco-passage by Matt Aresco, Nokuse Plantation land manager.

Below, entering the forest to the west on Eglin Air Force Base Wildlife Management Area, Florida Trail hikers will also avoid traffic and power lines for two miles north of the highway crossing at Owl's Head Rd. to the south.
