To meditate, I like to sit on a cushion as I learned at Zen centers in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1967 and 1987. Under the cushion I place a small blanket made of wool. I learned about the wool from Ed McCracken, CEO of SGI, a Silicon Valley computer graphics company in 1995. I describe him here: SGI.
He said that wool stores vibrations. It furthers meditation.
I found a wool blanket that I had inherited from my family. I feel that it has the stored vibrations of my ancestors. I cut and hemmed it to the right size.
