Note: The Zoom or Live Picture viewer is obsolete. This help is included for historical reasons.
On a Web page, click the viewer to make it active, then do one of the following to navigate within the image:
Press A to zoom in; press Z to zoom out. You can try using SHIFT and CONTROL to zoom in and out, but depending on your system (or your user's system), Java may not reliably let you use these keys for zooming. If you find you can't use SHIFT or CONTROL, be sure to use A or Z to zoom in or out instead.
To pan across the image, drag the pointer horizontally or vertically across the view. If you're using a Macintosh, you must drag within the viewer window to pan across the image. In Windows, you can drag across the screen, crossing the applet boundaries, to pan the image. You can also use the ARROW keys to pan the image.
Press the Space Bar or H to view hotspots in the view. A hotspot appears as a red bull's eye icon in the image. Click the hotspot to cause an action, such as jumping to another view.
The following hardware and software is needed to use the Live Picture ViewerJava Version for JPEG views:
Note: To use the JavaScript methods that use strings, you must be running Internet Explorer 3.0 or higher or Netscape Communicator 4.01 or higher.
