Red dawn over Deer Lake inoutfall

A hazy sky blurs the beach dunes in mid-August, 2003. Red dawn glows molten on a Deer Lake inoutfall. This is a second inoutfall, east of the one shown on the map. In 2009 it is the only one. The footprints along the shore could belong to the Turtle Watch person.

Deer Lake State Park pages start here with movies from the March equinox, 2002. This park is in the Florida panhandle, called the Emerald Coast, on the Gulf of Mexico.

The background image is abstracted from sand lace (small, medium or large view). This white sand made of quartz crystals is gray or neutral when wet. See 2009 inoutfall, Florida travel page, or park.
