Photographed on 2009, March 22 on the North of Hwy. 30-A contingent to Cassine Trail access to Pt. Washington State Forest. Tentatively identified as Jester lichen (Cladonia leporina) mixed with powder-puff deer lichen. The puffs are the lighter rounded pillows. The sprawling form has red fruiting caps. It is more upright than usually seen, reminding me of photos of British soldiers type of lichen.
