30A - Seagrove 3

Discovered the Chapel earthball on November 9 and have seen it every week since then. Only on January 3, 2011, when looking close up at photos from December 24 and January 1, 2011, did I discover tiny puffballs within and spilling from the cavity. They look like blueberries. Below are the big pictures.

On January 7 my macro lens was no use because the cavity was empty, probably washed out by the heavy wind and rain storm on Jan 5. However, there still seem to be some spores left when rechecked on Jan. 14, 21, and 28.
