Shorebirds 2015, Willets

For years I have seen single Willets on the shore of Deer Lake State Park on the Gulf of Mexico. This 2014 video captures their characteristic behavior. Choices: YouTube or Vimeo.

This spring I spotted two fishing near each other. On June I found five of them, acting quite differently. They looked at the water. Three walked beside the water. One jumped back from a wave splash. I don't know why, but this video shows them. Choices: YouTube or Vimeo.
