Since Oct. 5, I've been tracking earthballs on an old road beyond the Nature Trail in Deer Lake State Park. See the changes on Oct. 21, Oct. 28 and Nov. 4.
On
Oct. 19 I saw this fully functioning earthball
for the third week. The spores are visibly piling
up around the ball onto the white sand. Compare

Nice
earthball. Not sure if it evolved from one seen
before.
Twin
eggs, just up from earth so could not see if
they were mushrooms or earthballs. Here's a youtube
