- Global Meditations list of links by Barbara Wolf includes earthwide and local events.
- wrinkle in time 2000. QuickTime VR panographers record the first day of the year 2000. You can be one of them.
- The millennium peace crystal site is from the Chatham Islands (New Zealand) Moriori people, who became non-violent 500 years ago, at http://www.peacecrystal.com/. I am taking part in their celebration.

- The Dream for the Year 2001 page proposes a peace blitz, from the visionary of Earth Day. Become an earth trustee.

- Earth Day Network has an Earth Day 2000 sign up form. You can participate in a major international Earth Day 2000 event and vote for one of six themes under consideration.
- Forests are about now, not 2000, but perfect for the spirit of the Waipoua Forest Lookout tower.
- http://www.provide.net/~aelewis/y2ko/y2ko_000.htm is a detailed, comprehensive Y2K (year 2000 computer and chip problem) site (not updated at the end of 1999, however). It includes Gary North and others. Also try year2000.com. Or Oregon state links.
In the month of July, 1998, I wrote to Talk 2000, suggesting pooling Y2K solutions. Flemming Funch, the founder of New Civilization Network, wrote email deploring the lack of any specific information on Y2K. Also, President Clinton requested legislation for people who share information, protecting them from lawsuits resulting from use of the shared information.

- A wonderful sculpture, the TimeWheel, at www.timewheel.com/.
- The Pole to Pole 2000 adventure sponsors 12 trekkers but can involve us all. Carrying our promises, the journey from the North Pole starts in March 2000, crosses three great continents, and ends at the South Pole. They will be the first to see the dawn of the year 2001.

- A controversial dome is being built at Greenwich, UK. See the Greenwich millennium site.
- Humanity 3000 symposium already. It is related to other seminars sponsored by the World Future Foundation. A detailed prospectus is a contribution to Lookout 2000.
- On Nov. 26, '97, the US White House Millennium Council and the National
Endowment for the Arts announced a competition for a Millennium
Graphics Design Package. The logo is done -- quite good, see it here.
- From the Millennium Institute intro: "..as you cross the threshold into the
new millennium, consider ... a humane, just, and
environmentally sustainable future!" Plus, the institute offers practical solutions. And great links.
- The Millennial Project: Colonizing
the Galaxy in 8 Easy Steps. The Foundation's first colony is being built in cyberspace.
- World Peace 2000, and One Day of World Peace both focus on January 1, 2000. The goal is 24 hours around the world where the guns fall silent and the
sound of prayers can be heard.
- LightShift 2000 enables you to participate in the millennial moment, where we turn on the light of the world. That is at 12:12 a.m. on January 1, 2000, precisely.
- The Electronic Millennium Project plans to link web content all over the world. Whether you are non-profit or commercial, you can be part of the EMP site. Here is a countdown clock in a popup window, with more information.
- Millennium Holomorph is the most ambitious and worthwhile millennium project I've found yet. It is not that a world-wide envisioning system is more important than spiritual growth or biodiversity or other causes. It is that the communication might enable the solutions we seek.
