- Cloth of Many Colors is a mile-long quilt. Volunteers sew it with swatches
of cloth, prayers for the new millenium, and stories from hundreds of thousands
of people all over the world. The quilt starts a global journey on September
19, 2000, at a presentation at the United Nations in New York. {Note, the

on the project.}
