This is an issue close to my heart. Actually, it is the most important issue. If we can't communicate freely, how can we save the world? Allen Boyd represents me in the US House of Representatives. his website addresses these current issues: Memorial Day, Protect Our Coasts, Veterans, Healthcare, Offshore Drilling, and Rural America. The menu has these topics: Agriculture, Armed Forces, Budget, Education, Election Reform, homeland Security, Iraq, Medicare, and Veterans. I see no mention of Net Neutrality, the Internet, or Telecommunications. When I called his office on June 8, I was told that he hasn't announced a position on the COPE telecommunications law and is still taking public input. We urge a NO vote if it doesn't include Rep. Ed Markey's Net Neutrality Amendment. Later I learn he has voted YES along with other house members. I'm enraged at his position. Now our only hope is that Senators understand the importance of stopping this legislation. For weeks now, I've been mostly offline, publishing old artworks. Same for today, a drawing pastel and ink, done in Monte Rio, California in 1979, called Parmenides Atomic Radiation Yoga. here's a detail from the center of the drawing.
