The exact time of the March equinox is marked in vision and photograph with an interactive QuickTime VR movie called Between sundial and Xtals: intent. For photos and links, see the introduction, where you can choose a movie. There are three choices: 5MB, 2MB, and 500KB, that is, large, medium, and small. The medium movie enters a twilight zone of color.

If you have broadband Internet, fine. If you are on a slow connection, all the movies are large, so download them while you take a break of five minutes or more. There is a Macromedia Flash animation superimposed on the 360-degree panoramic photograph of a sundial in Natchez Park, Seaside, Florida.
